Staff
Ray Emery has served as Senior Pastor of Midway Baptist Church for 31+ years. He and his wife, Diana, live in Haysville. They have three grown children and five grandchildren who call them Papa and Meme. Most of the members call him Brother Ray. Diana serves on staff at Midway as Food Service Manager.
During the last four years Brother Ray has led our church in a major change from a church with a traditional program to a church of small groups with an emphasis on growing committed disciples of Jesus Christ.
He has an emphasis on strong Biblical preaching with practical application. Brother Ray leads a class for those who are interested in becoming part of Midway's fellowship or just getting to know about the church. He would love for you to join him on Sunday mornings at 9 in room 105.
Dennis Clough - Associate Pastor Dennis has previously been a pastor of a church but now is bi-vocational as he serves here at Midway and also with Trinity hospice in Wichita.
David Atkins - Associate Pastor, Worship, Missions and Young Adults  Email DavidDavid is our newest staff member. He is over the choirs, orchestra and other items pertaining to music. Along with this assignment he is the head of the missions committee and is encouraging members to be ready to serve God wherever He leads, so get your passport ready!
Tom Melton - Minister to Senior Adults Tom is a minister to the Senior Adults here at Midway.
Jim Rosendale - Minister to Youth Jim has the task of leading/teaching youth to reach their potential in Christ.
Lois Mercer - Minister to Children Lois has recently accepted this position to help in the direction of the children of Midway and their families to become closer to Christ.
Doug Webb - Minister of Discipleship Doug has the responsiblity of making sure that all departments have Biblical teaching materials.
